2017: a new year = new conferences
Just like last year, 2017 will be filled with conferences and other interesting events. And lucky for me I get to speak at several of them again this year. So if you’re around and you have a few hours to spare be sure to attend a few sessions. The importance of learning new skills, being agile and knowing what’s happening in the world of design and technology has never been greater. Here’s a preliminary list of what’s happening in my world:

Things have been really busy these last few weeks and there seem to be events everywhere these days. And of course I’ll be attending my fair share as either a speaker or moderator.
Here’s a list of what’s coming in the next 2 months. Continue reading Come and say hi during these next events
It looks like I’ll be staying a bit longer in the United States after my InDesign lab sessions during Adobe MAX and continue my journey to Washington D.C. to speak at the InDesign Conference. Needless to say my InDesign-geek heart just skipped a beat. Continue reading Speaking at the InDesign Conference in Washington D.C.
Designers rejoice! OFFF is coming to Antwerp so get ready for 3 days of inspiring sessions, good food, art and a cool market place. Oh, and I’m hosting Adobe’s Keynote session on the main stage. Fun! Continue reading Speaking at OFFF by Night in Antwerp
Though already “old news”. A few weeks ago I learned that I was named an Adobe MAX Master for my InDesign sessions. This means I was one of the top 20 speakers at the conference. And not only that, I was also awarded the speaker with the highest overall score. So a big thank you to everyone who attended my sessions and supported me. I hope to see all of you again this year in Las Vegas during MAX 2017!
I’m ecstatic to announce I’ll be speaking at the Adobe MAX 2016 conference in San Diego this year. I’ve spoken at several other events and conferences overseas. But the sheer size of the conference (probably around 9.000 creatives this year), labs, sessions, announcements and other overall craziness makes MAX a totally unique event that you should attend at least once in your creative life. Something to scratch off the bucket list! Continue reading Speaking at Adobe MAX 2016 in San Diego
I finally found the time and energy to record a new Photoshop video for the friendly folks at CreativePro.com. Photoshop seems to be my preferred weapon of choice these days and so I decided to share another great tip on using Smart Objects for layer blending. Intriguing right?

At long last! The CC Libraries development team at Adobe has just released a very anticipated feature: shared Creative Cloud Libraries with read-only access.

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my last update. I’ve been very busy during the last year or so finding my place at Adobe. I also had a few things that took priority in my personal life which made me unable to record new videos or write new articles.
But now things have quieted down and the dust is settling. Which can only mean I’ll have more time to post new things and try be more active. So thank you all for sticking around

This month and last month CreativePro released two of my new Adobe Photoshop videos on using Smart Objects. If you’re into Photoshop and want to discover more about Smart Objects you can click on the images below to learn more! Continue reading New Adobe Photoshop videos on using Smart Objects
After many weeks of careful consideration and talks with colleague experts I have very recently decided to accept an offer from Adobe to join their team as a Solutions Consultant. For this position I’ll be active in the Benelux region in Europe (Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg) helping business clients choose the right set of Adobe design products to meet their objectives. But there’s a lot more of course. And to help everyone understand my decision better I would like to explain what motivated me. Continue reading I have joined Adobe
